Covid-19 EFT Tapping For Feeling Stuck & Releasing Clarity of Thought

There is so much change happening very fast right now and many of these changes are forcing us to find solutions to problems and think outside of the box.  But what if you feel stuck and unable to find solutions to problems such as schooling, working from home or finding new work opportunities to pay the bills.

In this tapping script, we look at reducing fear and anxiety around making decisions.  Sometimes staying put feels a lot safer than taking a step in any direction.  This occurs especially at times where there is great change and uncertainly such as what we are living now in Covid-19.



EFT Tapping Script For Feeling Stuck & Releasing Clarity of Thought

Part of moving beyond feeling stuck is to explore the subject of 'STUCK' that is very personal to you specifically.

Ask yourself: 

'Where in my life right now do I feel stuck?'
'Where does this feeling of stuckness come from?'
'How does this feeling of stuckness show up in my life?'
'Is there a fear that is showing up in the form of feeling stuck?'
'What is this fear about?'
'When I think of this situation, where do I feel unease in my body?'
'What does this unease in my body feel like?'
'What would be options to move beyond feeling stuck that still helps me feel safe?'
'What would be options to move beyond feeling stuck that makes me feel unsafe?'
'What are the benefits of exploring the options that make me feel unsafe?

Let's do some tapping:

Take your Subjective Units of Distress Measurement from 0 - 10 and let's start tapping.

Tap on the KC point and say:

Even though, I feel stuck in the situation of ______________________________(insert your situation), I completely and utterly love and accept myself;

Even though, there are options to move beyond being stuck that feels unsafe like _____________________________________ (insert some of the options you explored), I am brave and am able to view my options with inquiry in my place of feeling safe;

Even though, this feeling of stuckness feels like ____________________  (insert the sensations you experience) in _________________________ (insert where in your body you feel the unease) part of my body, I love and honour my bodies ability to communicate with me.


Tap on each Acupoint from Top of Head to Underarm and make a statement that is specific to your experience of being stuck.  The below statements will provide a guide to get you started.

I feel stuck in _____________________ (insert the part of your life where you feel stuck for example career: ways to work from home, schooling: ways to school your child at home, connection: ways to connect to loved ones during lockdown, ideas: areas where you need to generate new ideas to earn a living etc.)

This feeling of being stuck comes from _______________________________ (insert where you feel this stuckness originates from - where did you first start feeling stuck in this part of your life?)

This feeling of stuckness shows up ___________________________________ (insert what this stuckness looks like in your life and when does this feeling of stuck occur in your life)

If feeling stuck is really a fear then I think I am afraid of __________________________ (insert what you think you are afraid of that is causing you to stay stuck)

This fear is about __________________________ (insert what you think this fear is really about)

When I am in this situation or think about this issue, I feel this feeling in ________________________________ (where in your body do you feel discomfort)

This discomfort in my body feels like _____________________ (describe the sensations you are feeling in your body)

Options that keep me safe but still let me feel I am moving from being stuck include _____________________________ (add some of these options here)

I also have options that make me feel a little scared and unsafe and these include ___________________________ (add these options here)

The negatives of exploring the options that make me feel unsafe include _______________________ (add these negatives here)

The positives of exploring the options that make me feel unsafe include ____________________ (add these positives here)



Keep tapping until you reach a zero on the SUDS measurement making sure to check in after each tapping round to measure your progress down the scale.
